Why can't I see the moon right now? There are no clouds and it's not an eclipse.?

Where are you? The moon is about 27 degrees close to the sun today. If it's later than 4:00 pm for you, then probably the moon has already set.

The moon currently is position in the eastern morning sky just before sunrise. It won't be visible in the evening time for the next week to 10 days. The bright "stars" located near the moon tomorrow morning is the planets Mercury and Jupiter, and the "red" looking star nearby is the planet Mars.
