why can't i remove fring from my nokia n97 mini?

i want to get rid of fring from my phone. i choose delete and a message says something like 'all contents associated with fring will be removed.continue?'. i choose yes and it says 'removing' with a progress bar, but when the bar finishes, it says 'uninstallation failed' every single time. why is this? and how do i get rid of it? the program is not open and all i've done is installed it; i haven't used it once. thankyou if you know the solution
