I'm trying to install XP on a laptop that doesn't have a cd/dvd drive. It blows my mind that the geniuses that came up with flash and bios technology didn't implement a way for you to simply copy an .iso file to flash drive the same way you would a cd and just boot to it. Is anyone good enough to explain in detail the bootable cd boot process and why on earth no one did this?
