I  only have an hdmi cord for my ps3. I tried hooking up to an older philips flat screen (not lcd, led, or plasma) I can get the system to work fine and have access to everything except when i try to play any game (off a disc) it acts as if the hdmi no longer works. I turn off/on the ps3 and it works fine again until i try to play the game again. I checked connections on both ends of hdmi to make sure it wasnt falling out or something but that doesn't appear to be the case. Only when I launch the game does it "turn off" Any suggeestions?
