I am on the Two Sides of the Coin Quest, the one where I am supposed to be talking to the boyfriend of this lady. They were thieves together, but he got caught while she was off getting wood and she found out that he hid their stolen goods somewhere first. She asks me to find out from him where the stuff is, but he doesn't trust me enough to tell me unless I get arrested. So I steal something in front of the guard, and he says, "STOP! Pay your fine or go to jail!" So I push Go To Jail, and nothing happens. I need to get put in the same cell as him, but they for some reason just say I hope you rot criminal scum, but no one actually puts me behind bars.
Why can't I get put in jail in Oblivion?
