I just switched to Verizon DSL 3.1 Mbps and I can no longer find matches in MW2. The reason I switched is because my friend who lives about 7 minutes away has Verizon and his connection was way better than the one I had. I used to be able to find 14-15 games but now it finds 0/50 (maybe 1 or 2 if i'm lucky). My connection is usually decent-good if I actually get into a game, but getting in is the hard part. My NAT type is open.
I'm still paid up for the month on my old internet and it continues to work the same as it used to (still can find games) so I know my router isn't bad. The Verizon tech guy said some wires were switched around in my phone jack and that could be messing with it but I don't know which wires or if he was right or not. My phone part (i got a package deal) is working just fine, just not the DSL. I have not tried other games at this point but I will later. UPNP is enabled on my router. Please let me know if I need to clarify anything or include any more information. Thank you.
