i have a samsung L5 led lcd tv that should hook to the internet via cat5 or wireless (with dongle) i have an WRT54G wireless router. ive been able to reach as far as the gateway and it stops . not sure what or where i get this number from. i really don't know anything about this type of stuff and usually i can wing it, but im having trouble with this one. i have a cable ran directly from the router to the tv and still it wont connect. ip and sub net mask seem to work but it always stops at the gateway? where or how do i get this number?i tried the one from the router.please help...i have no problems with the Ipod or laptops using wifi , i don't have the dongle for the tv just the cat5 . the auto setting on the tv fails the first step at ip address if that means anything?
why cant i connect to the internet with mt samsung led tv?
