Why cant i connect my bluetooth?

i bought a new car, yaris with a tomtom and the tomtom has bluetooth can u please help me i cant connect my blackbeerry as i need to add device first but i need to do it from my phone i have to add my tomtoms bluetooth, how the hell am i going to do that please help
i know how to enable my bluetooth, lol i need to know how i can add it from the tomtom
