I use photoshop elements 6 for mac, and I have had this same problem before. When I first installed the program, some features under the 'filter' tab were missing (render, etc.) After two weeks or so of using it, somehow the features randomly appeared out of nowhere and I was able to use them. When I reset the settings for photoshop, those same features disappeared again and I have no knowledge of how to get them back. If you have any idea how to help, please let me know. Thanks.
