So that there would be no reason for people to sleep in lines overnight? They know that they have a serious money making product that's in serious demand. They can't hire more employees to make more? And speaking about that sleeping in line all night on the hard (it's still cold in some cities) ground all night, that is really ridiculous IMO. I can't think of one thing that I would sleep outside on the sidewalk for if I didn't have to! Forget that. And why are the people who do that so desperate? Is it really that important to them to go through all of that, and then the fighting that takes place once inside of the store, ... just to have bragging rights to say "I was the first to get the new Apple computer! I slept outside the store all night to get it!!!"? It's just an computer geez they'll make more at some point. Or "toy" as some grown adults have said. And an expensive toy at that. Where do people have the money in this recession?
