...you have to be 21 alcohol? In the US you can join the military or buy a pack of cigarettes at the age of 18, but you have to be 21 alcohol. Why? I've been to England in the UK and their drinking age is 18.
 
I totally agree. They say that the brain isn't fully equipped to cope and develop properly to handle alcohol. I don't understand why they think that 18 is an appropriate age for the others... I believe if I can smoke a cigarette and be trained to kill someone, I can damn well handle a glass of vodka.
