why can i not watch this file on windows media player?

when i try to open it it will not.
READ:I WANT TO BURN THIS TO A DVD-R DATA DISK TO WATCH ON MY PS3.
I haven't burned it to the disk because i don't know if it will work, it does'nt work on my media player.
