Why can I not play in windows media player the TV files from windows media center?

I use my media center as a Tivo to record the programs when I am at work. I prefer to watch them on media player to skip to the parts I like quickly or record them in rewritable discs to watch them on the weekends.

It used to work like a charm, but lately says copyright protected and I even though I can record them in the media center I can not watch them in the player.

Is there any way to go around this issue?

try kmplayer to play it. hope this can work.
