Why arent basketball tournaments on the west coast big like the ones on the east...

...coast? Like AND 1 tournaments I see that http://www.conciergeproductions.com is trying to make it big here on the west coast like it is on the east coast. But why doesn't the west coast turn out like they do back east for the tourny's? Is it that there is a lack of athletic ability on the west coast or what? lol
