Everyone was assured that the new laws were only to catch terrorists. What happened?

Well, they're trying to prevent it.

Morpheus, you better check who is in Congress.. it's your favorite part. lol

you never can be sure just who the terrorists are . you might be one . who are you voting for ? what books do you read? what groups do you associate with ? what websites do you visit? we need to know these things and we will when pelosi and reid and i get in power.

how do you identify a terrorist? 9/11 hijackers looked nothing like terrorists

All that fascist crap that Bush shoved through Congress is just to control YOU - maybe a terrorist or two on the side. But mostly it was to make sure YOU don't step out of line AND to give jobs to all those Brush friends who like to shove other people around.

Let's hope we can get rid of 100% of the legislative bilge that Bush has dumped on this poor country - a good deal of it is unConstitutional anyway. Of course Bush doesn't care about the Constitution either.

because you and i are terrorists. how terrified the government must've been when they learned of a potential uprising!
