The 2 high court judges presiding over the case of Binyam Mohammed(Lord Justice Thomas and Mr Justice Lloyd Jones) have already stated in their recent ruling that the British govt blocked the release of evidence relating to torture.

I note that you have not been brave enough to put your nationality, but let me assure you there is NO country is as tolerant as UK where else in the world can people march in the streets( not just British people but those who come here as immigrants or just visit this island), where can these people go on TV to voice their opinions , write in the media etc etc without being dragged off to prison or being stoned or worse. I don't know whether what you have stated is correct if it is then I agree with you it defiitely should not have and I as a British person but more importantly a compassionate human being I believe that governments groups "freedom" armies etc who treat their people or prisoners or others in an inhuman way should themselves be brought to justice------I hope if they fail to pay for their behaviour in this life they WILL pay on the day of judgement.day

Government not the British, and ALL governments around the world do in fact support torture and I mean ALL.
How?
See the political people your country deports to say Jordan for example, why do you think that is?
They keep them for questioning then cant get any more info out of them so deport them to a country where they have political power and know they will be 'questioned' a little harder.
So no mater what country you come from, you country does use torture. What they do with the information is the worrying bit as most of it will be completely unreliable.
