Why are we told by Media that we're in a "Recession" when it's really a "Global

Economic Crisis"? Now, the word "Crisis" was first used by the Media, then they narrowed it down to our part of the global neighborhood to refer to all this as just a "recession" which watered the situation down. Then the Media started using the "Recovery" word ... yeah right, like THAT'S really happening. Just to keep the optimism flowing so we don't freak out. (DUH!)
