...and mileage? I have been looking around at used Cadillacs in the Houston, TX area and have noticed that when the year is the same Cadillac Deville's are almost always cheaper than the Cadillac CTS's even when the CTS has higher mileage. This doesn't make sense to me because the CTS is Cadillac's entry vehicle while the Deville was one of their upper level cars. The Deville is also rated as being the more reliable of the two on almost every website that I have seen.

The Deville has a Northstar V8 engine and started out new at around $45,000+ while the CTS only has a V6 engine and started out new at around $30,000+
