Recently I have noticed more Americans crowding into Indian Buffets.
Are Americans really eating more Indian cuisine? Why is this?
Is it the fine dining atmosphere ? Curiosity? The spices? What?
Does anyone have any statistics?

Different people have different opinions. Yes recently, more Americans are eating Indian dishes but this only increased a little.

Firstly, Americans eat Indian buffets for a change. Also, they may certainly like a spicy Indian dish as this is not common in most American dishes.

Is it the fine dining atmosphere? The answer is yes, with great hygiene compared to dishes in India, this is true.

Curiosity? I would say Yes, because when a few Americans tried the Indian food, be it be a buffet or not, they will recommend their friends to try it for an extreme change.

74 percent of Americans consider themselves knowledgeable about Indian cuisine, but only a certain amount of them love Indian food. Some simply dont like the smell and taste of dishes like "curry" whereas some love it. Americans also may not like the spiciness of Indian food, although they are huge fans of foods, they love to try new dishes.
