I remember 10 years ago I got a TV/VCR for under $100, and a few years after that got a DVD player for $60. Now the prices have gone way up, (if you can even find a VCR at all.) Why did these things get so much more expensive? If I hold out, will the prices come down, in your expert opinion? Is everyone just going crazy getting the new technology what with the digital transition, so electronics companies are taking advantage? Once everyone has their entertainment systems all set up, will prices come back down?
Cars haven't changed in price over the past 10 years. And gas has been up and down due to fluctuations in supply and demand, not just inflation. The price of televisions and VCRs has more than doubled in ten years - that's a lot!! I require a better answer than answer #1.
Hey, Nate. I just said that TVs and VCRs are more than twice as expensive as they were last time I tried to buy them. So how is that cheaper than ever?? FAIL. Anyone else want to try? I didn't think a decent answer would be this hard.
