Poems are abstract, are they not?
Generic meaningless rhetoric spewed out by an aching soul.
If I knew how it would end, would it still be a thing I sought?
Every poem I read barely relates to me.
So what if it always makes me think of her!
It has nothing to do with her you see!
This is ridicules! There are so many more important themes then love and loss!
Write about the good times! Our trips, our sunsets, our future!
This poem is stupid. It invokes memories and feelings in my mind I don't want to cross.
Why are so many poems about love & desire?
All I need is one more chance to prove I am no longer that person.
