I did an engine swap in my '88 jeep comanchee where I replaced the 2.5 ltr. i4 , 4speed , 2wd with a 4.0 ltr. i6 , auto , 4wd. All went well everything bolted up w/ a little welding (good times), but ran into a problem with the fuel pump sending unit wires .There are 4. 1 for pump power ,1 for fuel level ,1 for ground ,no problem yet! then there is a 4th without wich the vehicle will not do anything . can anyone tell me what it is for?
why are there 4 wires to my '99 jeep fuel sending unit?
