Surely manufacturers of under-wired bras realise that these wires tend to gradually work their way through the material to pop out at the most awkward times.
Why are these "pockets" for the wires not strengthened at the ends with a suitable fabric to prevent this sort of thing happening?
I am fully aware that under-wired bras should not be washed in the washing machine, BUT surely that is to prevent the wires from losing their shape?
And to have to fortify the ends of the "pockets" with hand sewing can not be the solution either.
When I purchase a bra with under-wires, I expect it retain its quality for at least 2 years.
