The banks always state that the prices quoted in the news print and TV media are not for the 24 carat and they are not 99.99%pure where as the banks provide 24 carat and 99.99% pure gold hence the rates are around 2000 INR more than the media rates . are the statements valid and correct? For Ex todays media rates for 10gm -15,700INR and the bank rates 18522 INR.
