Why are the planets perfect spheres?

Nothing on Earth is perfect. However, planets including Earth seem to be a perfect sphere so that if we measured it it would probably make a perfect circle. Why is this?
It looks perfect, besides what about the atmosphere and all the layers? I am not talking about the mountains, I mean the total Earth atmosphere and all

Actually, to another answer, the Earth is far closer to a perfect sphere than a billard ball or anything similar.
Why?
Gravity is uniform in all directions.
Wouldn't make much sense otherwise.
 
actually earth isn't a perfect sphear, it is an oblate spheroid, being more bulky in the equator, this is becuz gravity is stronger at the poles

and as for your question large objects like plantes and stars, becouse of there immense gravity pulling stuff to the center makes things round

so small objects such as metiroids do not look round at all
