Why are the old games you can buy for the Wii so expensive

the original was Super Mario Bros. the SNES one was Super Mario World, both had super

although I see that I left that out of the original message

Buying a legit cartridge at a store is going to cost around $5 anyways. For certain hard-to-find games it's great(Super Mario RPG etc goes for $80 on ebay) but the rest is crap.

It also depends where you are. Japan has alot of amazing titles for VC already, whereas North America and Europe are getting very few small retro titles each week.

lol @ you cheap fucks. Teh average 360/ps3 game is $60 (plus sales tax and shipping if your buying online). So for the price of one 360/ps3 game you can buy 12 kick ass old school games and still have some change left. How the fuck is that a bad deal?

You can save the VC games to your SD card, but to play them from your SD card, you have to re-copy them to the Wii's HD. You can't take the SD card to another Wii and play the VC games either. It has to be on the Wii they were purchased on.

Pretty much. I've personally never had any problems with my Nintendo products (aside from blowing on the NES carts) in all the systems I've owned.

I'm not certain, but it's possible that if you attach your nintendo.com account to your new wii console, it may allow you to download the VC titles you purchased.

I'm just guessing because I did join the accounts and when I go online to the mynintendo section it has all the games I've registered and the VC titles + programs I've downloaded on my Wii
