What does this say about them?

and don't deny it: look at the readership figures of the News of the World, Hello! Magazine and the Mail on Sunday for starters

i like the fact that you put every british person in that category.

not ALL british people are so obsessed with other's sex lives thank you.

Hello,
I don't read any celeb magazines at all, I don't watch celeb programmes or big brother or any of that tat.
I'm British.
BUT - I do love a nice programme about sex, like Sexcetera, or Make me a porn star. Or a sexy film such as Secretary or Sex lies and videotape, with the benefit of James Spader in his hay day.
I mostly think that I am now 31 and it's about time I was becoming a pervert. After all, my husband is and he's 6 years older, so it's about time I got a move on!
It's not a strictly British thing, it's not so long ago Eurotrash was showing us the exploits of other country's sex acts. Also, Italy was voted the most sexual country in the world! They also have these types of magazines and papers abroad.
We're all thinking about it, if we didn't we'd not continue our species.
I wish Eurotrash was still on- Sexcetra is a bit like it, but you can't beat Antoine!

Because they've been conditioned to do so. It's such an obvious smoke screen tactic when you stand back and look at it. Get the populous obsessing over pointless news items whilst all the things that they should be thinking about go on behind their backs.
Here in the western world our governments and media agencies have been dumbing us down for years. Stupid people don't ask questions and do as they are told or are, at least, easily predictable.

I have lived in quite a few places around the world and I can tell you that taking an obsessive interest in the sex lives of others is not confined to the British
