Why Are Text Books Written To Rewrite History?

During my college years, I have recognized a political slant and History, Social Studies, and Economics re-written and facts were changed to appease the Democratic point of view. Am I the only one who has noticed these falsehoods?
 
No, your not, but you are one of the very few who has spoken out about it. We need more good people like you to start complaining and loudly so we can put a stop to this nonsense.
