Are we just living in a culture that breeds attention-seeking people who desire to be 'unique'..or want a scapegoat for their issues, and saying you have a mental disorder seems to put the idea in their heads that they can explain away their bad behavior.It's really annoying when 14 year olds self-diagnose with personality disorder and bipolar and then complain about it.It ruins real mentally ill people's credibility, don't you think?

Hey, one more thing audie, when self-diagnosing your self you should keep in mind not to pick out mental illnesses you can't have at one time. The term Dysthymia is used to to describe a mood disorder which is a lot less severe than a major depressive disorder, so you saying you have major depressive disorder and Dysthymia at the same time doesn't really make much sense. Next time you want to fool someone just say you have double depression which is Dysthymia with intense episodes of depression occurring, but I bet you already knew that, right honey? °___°
