Why are so many military wives pregnant all the time?

I live in Fayetteville near Ft. Bragg. I'm married with a 2 year old son. When my family goes out to the mall or Target all we see is pregnant women everywhere. We are struggling to pay the bills with just a small family. How are these people affording 3 or 4 kids with one on the way? The military is always saying they are underpaid but all you see is flashy cars with big chrome wheels. We want to leave this place it's disgusting. Can someone explain this to a honest taxpayer??
 
Well I'm a military wife & I can say some of it is because when our husbands are gone for a year at a time we yearn for their love when they return & that most of the time produces a baby. We also don't have to pay for medical bills, housing is paid for & if you live on a military post the utilities are paid for except for cable, internet & phone. Our lives aren't as bad as some people think.
 
I understand your concern, but you have to understand more. In a time of war like we are in, many soldiers are being deployed constantly. While deployed, everything is tax free. There are many bonuses for being deployed to war zones too. Some decide to spend this money on "flashy cars with big chrome wheels", but others decied to save their money. It is just like everyone else. As far as all of the wives being pregnant, unfortunatly, being in the military causes people to grow up, or at least think they have grown up a lot quicker than they should have. Many start familys so they have that security of something to come home to when they deploy. Me personally, I am single and plan on staying that way as long as I can!
