Why are so many men wearing pink or lavender, I thought it was more of a girl's colour?

I am noticing many males are wearing pink shirts & ties, or lavender.
Newsreaders, politicians & men in general.
Even bank staff, lawyers, corporate men.
Could men tell me if they wear pink or lavender & why they do?
It just doesn't seem a male colour to me.
This is not a bigoted Question, as most of the men I have noticed wearing these colours are your everyday man.....one I know even plays rugby.
Just curious as why so many men are wearing pink?
Would love your views on this, thanks.

some look kinda cute in these colours but i admit not every man can pull this off-i remember in the 80s when it was the fashion for men to wear pink/lemons etc and no one batted an eyelid

May be being a poof is now derigger. so men feel that they have to dress as one even if they are not.

its for dat reason excactly, they are considered female colors and a man seen wit anything conparable to a womans would make him a joke or be victim of tease ect. so its being considerd BOLD to stand up to dat.

lol gender roles have become so relaxed these days that it wouldnt surprise me if you soon walked into a bank and were served by a man wearing a skirt

im pleased to say my wardrobe is a pink-free zone

Color associations with gender are pure invention. People like to thumb their noses at silly rules like this. That's my view on it.
