Why are so many Honda drivers so crazy?

Don't get me wrong, I know bad drivers come in all shapes and styles of vehicles, but here in Houston where I live they're particularly bad. Now, i'm not talking only about the ricers and fake wannabe racecar drivers, but just your average joe. I read an article that Honda has decided in future vehicles, to discourage speeding in their drivers and conserve fuel, they're going to have the speedometer change colors to warn them when they're driving too fast. I mean, here almost 8 out of 10 times when you get cut off, someone takes a sudden turn without a signal and or other wreckless driving, it's a Honda. I don't understand what it is about these cars that instigates bad driving. It's not that there's just alot of Honda's on the road either. I've lived here a long time and here there's a good mix of vehicle types. This is a real study for me. Is there something about the design or the way they perform that causes this? I've driven a Civic and Accord before, but I didn't find anything special or unsual about the car.

thy'er powered by VTEC yo.

in my area (bay area, cali), we have our fair share of crazy drivers and there are a lot of hondas among them. but mainly coz every other car here is a honda or toyota and the hondas are generally driven by a younger crowd and teenagers. but i've seen it in almost all car makes. there's nothing "special" about hondas that woudl cause people to drive crazy. take a look at the drivers though. are they younger or are they older? hondas are affordable and they're a little more enjoyable to drive than toyotas so that makes them popular with younger people.

Where I live (Kansas), the majority of a-holes seem to drive large SUVs or pickup trucks.

Honda is one of the more popular cars out there because they are cheap and practical. So odds are pretty good that it's more about of course a lot of crazy people have Hondas...because a lot of people, period, have Hondas. Also think about if it's a cheaper car than others, people will care less if it gets effed up on the road...i.e. they will be more reckless with their cheap car than a BMW, Lexus, Mercedes or sports car.

Of course, I haven't noticed anything particular about Hondas, so it could also be about location. Some cities just have more crazy drivers than others.

hahaha... its funny... well honda has stability.. and if its dropped.. it can do whatever u want .. it can be the CHEAPEST BEST HANDLING CAR... so yeah,.,.

Well, I'm a proud owner of a Honda. And I drive well...I'd call it spirited haha. But I'm into working on cars, and I am in an auto tech program. The two go hand in hand. If you like cars and like working on them, well in most cases your gonna drive the hell out of your car every once in a while. But that doesn't mean I'm a bad driver. I don't cut people off like your saying, and I always use turn signals, etc. I'm not sure what is wrong with the people around there, but we don't have "crazy honda drivers" around here in Charlotte, NC. We just have crazy drivers period. People scare me how reckless they drive sometimes.

From the skewed view you have of Honda owners, I'm guessing your the type that "supports his country" by buying Chevy Dodge or Ford only. Am I right?
