Plants contain a chemical called Chlorophyll which is used in Photosynthesis (it filters the light or something)

Photosynthesis is how plants make food using sunlight =]

Yes!
I just learned this
Chlorophyll absorbs all the colors of the light spectrum (color of the rainbow) but reflects the green and yellow instead of absorbing it so it reflects the green color to our eyes!

because they contain a substance called Chlorophill and that's green I think)
