I have always noticed how mean and cruel most people are when the subject of foodstamps comes up. Most people respond to questions about it (on here) by saying "get a job!" or "we don't serve you, pay it in cash". Well I used to work for a grocery store and we had a rule that any milk, eggs, or juice that doesn't get bought needed to be dumped a WEEK before it expired. We would also extremely overstock on food that we knew would probably never get sold. So if there are people that are needy that can not afford the luxuries of never ever having to worry if they can afford food, and there is so much extra food being wasted anyways, then WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE HELPING THEM??
And I'm not talking about lazy people and people on welfare, I'm talking about WORKING men and women that use foodstamps because they CAN'T MAKE ENDS MEET.
