I have a couple of friends who are about to lose their homes after losing their jobs a while back. Both paid their bills on time and had good credit until the company they worked for was sold then closed by their new owner who just wanted the company name. They can make the product cheaper oversees. My friends had good paying jobs right out of high school at the factory that no longer exists for over 15 years.Since the economy is what it is, they haven't been able to find jobs anywhere near what they made right out of high school. Neither went to college but made a good living working like our parents and grandparents who retired from similar factory jobs. Some of our parents and grandparents moved up to high level paying jobs that now you can only have a degree to even qualify for.
The problem isn't with many of the workers who are losing their homes. It is in the job security that is no where near secure anymore and our parents and grandparents would be in similar problems if it happened to them.. What do you think.
