...the ones who chose Palin to run? I do not like Palin in the least. However, the McCain camp had their pick of ten or twenty other people and chose Palin.

How can they now be upset with their choice vs being upset with themselves?

I never fully understood why Palin was chosen in the first place. She did give the ticket a great lift back in August when she was introduced as McCain's running mate, but that initial excitement has worn off. Maybe they were hoping that the euphoria she generated would last until after the election. Apparently, that has not happened.

And, certainly, not only should the people who made the decision to select Palin be blamed for its consequences, they should also be blamed for the way they used Palin during the campaign. She has come across as a strident, empty-headed, overly-religious, harpy. She was much more professional and moderate as governor of Alaska.

you have a great imagination. you should write fiction....or be a speech writer for the DNC

Palin is OK. They are covering their butts for doing a lousy job of planning and executing the campaign and her role in it.

Maybe they didnt realize that McCain would drop 10 points after she opened her mouth

They shouldn't. Palin is their creation completely. From the RNC to about a week ago, she has done exactly as instructed.

I'm following all of this very close and am a strict republican and I'm not seeing any of what you say. The way the left and the media has treated her has actually brought people closer to her.
