Why are penises always portrayed as circumcised?

In the media, while only 20% of the male population is actually cut. Is it because of the US and their view on circumcision, therefore altering the view?
 
I would think in countries other than the US that the penis would be portrayed more as uncut, since that would be the norm there. However, since the majority of the men in the US are cut, I'm sure whomever is portraying this is playing it safe and going with the majority. I was cut at birth and wish I hadn't been.
