I'm watching the Pens/Rangers game and they called a 5 minute major on a good hit,the player turned his back and his face went into the boards.It seems the Officials are trying to curb the "big hits".
I very rarely get on the Officials but I have noticed this trend.
It also seems to me,when a player levels another player,why do they have to automatically drop the gloves?When there's a good "legal hit",WHY do two teammates skate over to the player that just made the hit and "gang up" on him?I'm not even talking aboot superstars but role players that got nailed..
