I don't really have many male friends, the majority of my friends are female. I had about a 50-50 split in high school but gradually lost touch with the guys because they weren't as good at keeping in contact as the girls were.
I'm also a bit of a man-hater because I had an awful father. Yay me
I have a handful of male acquaintances now, but my two best friends are males. I'm closer with them than with any of my female friends. What's with that? I don't even like men, they're really mean most of the time but these two friends are pretty damn loyal even though they occasionally annoy me.
