...relates to world history? The U.S.A. boasts of how wealthy their country is and of how the "majority" are highly educated,yet most dont know U.S.A history,and even much less about world(outside the U.S.A)history! The next time any of you encounter an American I dare you to ask them who were the first europeans who invaded Florida,How did their Texas state got it's name,and what does it mean. I can go on an on of the simple questions you can ask them and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if 16 ou of 20 Americans gave you the wrong answer!!!!!!!!!
I have countless of examples but the funniest ones that stand out for me is when an American asked me if Ireland was located in Canada!(No Joke!)and When an American asked me why I have blond hair and blue eyes since I'm not of German ancestry!
