Why are Jap cars, particularly Honda & Toyota so dam good?

even when they build some models in the UK? This should be the kiss of death, to their reliable reputation!
yes but how can they get away with using our people, to bulid them? My Avensis has a sticker on the sceen (which I have never been able to remove) saying MADE IN BRITAIN, what a thing to have on a otherwise great car!

The Japanese take things apart to find out how they work then they improve on them , the quality control is much better than anywhere else in the world .
I have been a motor engineer for many years now and the best quality engineering comes from Japan for the mass consumers , if you want the same quality from UK companies you would have to pay for it, even in the factory's in the UK quality comes first , not like UK comps whom just hide faults and let them go out any repair later !
 
they use car parts that are more dependable then powerful. they have a good balance between dependability and power.
