Why are Harley Davidson Riders afraid to ride a sport bike, rice rocket?

On last Sunday's poker run I offered two Harley Davidson riders to trade riding bikes with me ( they ride my rice rocket and I ride their Harley) They both refused cause they are afraid of my bike.
Are they afraid they would look bad riding it or don't they have any confidence in themselves that they could ride it,
I believe riding a rice rocket is much easiser than riding a Harley
 
I think you're overlooking one detail Bart. It sounds like they could care less about swapping out with someone else's bike and just preferred to ride the one they showed up to the poker rally with.
 
Probably felt they would look bad on it and also riding a different type of bike is difficult if you havent before. This is because the power to weight ratio is different. A sport bike as a higher power to weight ratio as compared to a harley. So Im guessing that they didnt want you to damage their bike or vice versa....
