Why are gun (Specifically handgun) lasers so expensive?

A basic laser is about five dollars.
You stick it on a gun and suddenly it's 350.

WHAT?
Did I miss something?
LoVexx Y ... SERIOUSLY? Guns are dangerous? OMG I have to tell the president! This is terrible news!
