Why are gas prices going down?

Where I live in Georgia, gas prices are under two dollars. I never thought I'd see that again... wtf?
 
wrong. demand is going down but OPEC also lowered the Supply. So the supply demand function has hit an equilibrium. (the derivative of the tangent line is 0) there is no apparent reason. Last week oil prices should of started increasing but they didnt. No one on wall street actually knows whats going on.
 
LOL well people are using less so there's less demand. Violence is down for the most part so there's less risk and people are manipulating the market anymore let alone foreign groups like Russia venezuala or OPEC. Look at congress who controls the purse strings when they spend the spend & when the president does like say for suppling the troops they close them & the troops get punished. When you control the oil & life blood of the world it doesnt take alot to change it up or down & when your a big player & you turn off your exports prices go up because demand is still there but less to get now that there is less demand & until OPEC slows exports it will still go down. Though i doubt we will see it below 50.
