BE dog people? I go to the park often and there's always people walkaing their dogs. They let them off the leash and they just let them lounge at strangers( like me) , dogs jump at me, lick me,, get my juggling balls and put them in their mouth..

AND I"m not a dog person!!! I 'm even afraid of dogs .. BUT even aside from that.. isn't it disrespectful that they push their dogs onto me even though i'm a total stranger.
I think they have no right!!

why do they do it?

I'm 29 male, and never been a dog person

Some people never train their dogs NOT to use those behaviors. Those same people get offended when someone yells at the dog. Its hard to tell a stranger to get their dog off you because you don't like them; most everyone just assumes all people like dogs. I don't let mine jump on people when I walk them in the neighborhood; some guy shot a neighbor's dog just because she was in his yard. The dog was just a pup and I wouldn't want that to happen to either of mine.

Oh, come on! It is not cruel. Yes, it is rude, but you go way too far by calling it cruel.

When you see a friendly dog coming towards you, cross your arms over your chest, keep your arms tight to your body, and turn your back. Don't run. Don't even walk. Just turn your back. The dog won't jump on you.

Are you by any chance in an off leash dog park??? Because I can't believe so many people violate the law around you all at once. If you are juggling in an off leash dog park, you deserve to have all of your juggling balls stolen by dogs. Go to one of the other million parks where you are welcome, and off leash dogs are not welcome. Leave the ONE off leash dog park to the dog people.
