Because they feel it gives to govt more money to waste, than what it's wasting all ready.
And if it's wasting money now, then that means that too much money is being taken from the people. So if we can give more money back to people, then maybe, somewhere, sometime, someplace, some universe, the budget will have to be seriously reduced, rather than funding weird things like building a museum to the cockroach, or such.

No, what makes sense is to spend less. When you're broke, what do you do, ask your boss for a raise or cut back on your expenses? Cutting back is the only option that has guaranteed results.

I don't know! Maybe it could be because it involves giving more of our money to the government!! Maybe because the government will just spend it foolishly and close the federal government because they spent their allowance on pop and chips instead of tucking it away in the bank!! Maybe we don't want to buy congress new homes every two years or send them on that vacation they so desperately want evey six months!! It also could be because it's our money!!
America does not have a deficit of trillions of dollars!! Our government does and I don't know about you but I can't afford to pay more cause all of congress (both sides of the aisle) are spoiled &2(&#!0000&$%@ !!!!

Spending needs to be cut. We have plenty of revenue. We have way too much spending.
Last budget deficit under Bush was about 500 billion.
Obama has averaged 1.5 trillion.
Obama and the Democratic Congress have spent more in the last three years than EVER BEFORE.
And they refuse to cut back to 2008 levels at all.
