...Current Events? Isn't that rather hilarious. Muslims don't think in those terms and don't see themselves as "children of Hagar" and Jews as children of Sarah. When Islam was spreading in the Middle East, numerous Jews and Christians have converted to Islam. Jews also consist of millions who were brought into the fold on Judaism when Jews used to proselytize.
Isn't that how the creation of Israel is justified. Christians and Jews claim that God like Sarah/Isaac better, so He gave the "land" to them, and God didn't really like Hagar and her son Ishmael so they were offered a pittance somewhere else?
