Why are Christian and Muslim warlike and Buddhists so peaceful?

Just wondering if maybe we could all learn something about peace from others who share the planet with us.
@She said: True on both points, thanks. There are peaceful Muslims and warlike Buddhists.
@everard: No, you are right, not that much. Was just seeing the present moment where they are not the source of today's problems.
@ross and handbasket: Of course you are correct, just not seeing that today. To be honest, I asked a more intelligent and profound question but nobody paid any attention to it. So I just threw out this obviously simpilistic and stereotyped baloney because that is the only way I can get a response! LOL!
@everard: No, not too much, but I favor them over western religions. I like their open ideology, and am inspired more from zen than from western religions, but really am not religious in any institutional framework, I feel it has to come from within. They have all had their wars.

Um, do you know how many wars have been fought over the tooth said to be Buddha's (now located in the Temple of the Tooth in Sri Lanka)?

Also, many of the samurai were buddhist. They didn't stop killing people until a Christian country invaded and made them settle down. Now Japan is peaceful.

I am a Muslim please tell me who am I at war with? Why do you assume I am not a peaceful person? Why do you assume no buddhists has ever been violent?

When people think that there are TWO tuths - Christian and Islam being the two, there will be disagreeing, however with Budhism, we all know it's bollocks, no one fights over it. lol
