why are bmw, mercerdes, lexus mechanics get paid more?

arent all cars pretty much the same? or are the high end cars more difficult to work on?
 
and your right all cars are about the same its just higher price parts get higher price shops which get higher price mechanics and truth is if you can work on any car you can work on any car
 
high end cars are much more difficult to work on. they have a lot more computer related issues. they also generally tend to have more features than your average chevrolet or volkswagen, so they have a higher number of things that could possilby end up going wrong with them.
