I just recently added in two new female balloon mollies (Salt and Pepper) to a tank with two other balloon mollies, a male and a female, along with a few other fish including two white skirt tetras. Pepper, the black fish, fits in just fine. Nobody bothers her. Salt, the white fish is being harassed by the tetras and the male molly. The male molly isn't doing the usual "mating dance" of mollies... He chases her in a high speed chase and then bites her, and then just won't stop chasing her. What is this?

I think they are just getting used to each other just wait a couple of more weeks then if they are still do it then remove him at once and also the molly is a good community fish that will generally not bother other inhabitants, they may harass other livebearers, including Platies, however. It is known for Mollies to be a little nippy, however, so any tank mates should be fast swimming and not be long-finned.
